I have a problem with the Loxone server. I’m testing it and it no longer connects via network cable. The green or yellow mains bulb does not light up! I also changed the cable, I tried to connect directly to the router, the laptop does not connect. What do you think would be the problem?

Reboot the miniserver.

Check power supply of miniserver. Do you have the Miniserver or the miniserver go.

Reboot router

Try connecting directly from PC to miniserver (you may need a crossover cable)

Does your PC connect to the router OK, try both wifi and cable.

It could be a corrupt SD card.

Can’t remember what to do if its the SD card but I am sure someone here will know.

I reset the server many times! I connect the server directly to the PC because it is the new server, in tests and I want to install for a project!

I also formatted the card but to no avail! same problem – no LED from the LAN connection lights up, PC does not see the LAN connection!

It looks like you have some other things connected, disconnect everything except the miniserver.
Are you connecting using a crossover cable? rather than a normal ethernet cable.
If you are connect directly to the PC then you need to set a few network things in the PC.
In the network config on the PC go to change adapter settings.
Right click on the Ethernet adapter go to the Properties of the adapter.
Scroll down in the Networking tab to the entry ‘Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and then click on the Properties button to edit the IPv4 properties of the adapter.
Here you can assign your computer to a static IP address.
Click on the option ‘Use the following IP address:’ and then fill in an IP address and subnet. The IP address for your laptop should be one that the Miniserver wouldn’t be using. By default with no router the Miniserver IP address is 192.168.1.77 so set your laptop IP address to a different address, for example 192.168.1.1
Hit enter after entering the IP address and the subnet will automatically be filled in as 255.255.255.0. Just leave this as is, you can now click OK and then exit the Control Panel network adapter windows.
Now reboot PC.
Then using the config program connect using the Miniserver’s IP address 192.168.1.77
Thats it
Also you don’t say if the LED lights are flashing or steady on the Miniserver.

Can you explain what you did. or which one of my suggestions helped you fix it. Just so that if others have a similar problem they will know what to do.
