Pulse Width Modulation

Generates a signal where the On/Off ratio depends upon the analogue input (AI).


Pulse width modulation converts analogue signals to digital signals. When Dis is not activated the analogue signal input at AI is modulated for the set period of time. The result is presented at the output Q. If the signal is 0 then Q is off, if it is 10 then Q is on, if the value is 5 then Q is on for 50% of the pulse width and off for 50%. The ratio changes depending on the analogue value.

The period P indicates the pulse period and is specified in seconds.
