In a Loxone installation, it is easy to monitor the status of doors and inform the relevant parties about any visitors thanks to the Door & Window Contact Air.
In our example, we decided to use visual notification via the lighting – if the door is opened, the Door & Window Contact Air registers this. The Miniserver then makes the light in a defined room flash for a pre-determined amount of seconds.
Tip: If you prefer a different or additional type of door entry alert, there are no limits to your imagination. For example, you can implement a notification via push notification on your smartphone or via the text-to-speech function of our music server.
