Hi everyone, I have installed a new audioserver at home. I have 5 audio extensions, 3 of them have attached 2 loxone speaker in mono modo mode (left + right), and the sound is really good. My trouble is with the other 2 audio extension, they are each one in a shower, and I would like it to sound in stereo mode with just one speaker (in stereo mode), but when we are cabling both chanels to the same speaker we are getting a disgusting back ground noise. At present I have each shower in mono mode, but I would like to have both chanels in the same speaker, as described in the website.
Do you have this problem? How do your resolve it?
Thank you in advance.
Hi Alejandro
The Audioserver is not compatible for running the ceiling speaker in Stereo, i.e a 4x core speaker cable from one speaker connected to 2x amp outputs. This can be seen on the datasheet of the speaker https://www.loxone.com/wp-content/uploads/datasheets/Datasheet_Speaker.pdf
The correct configuration is that the speaker be wired in mono mode and then in config the Stereo Output be seperated into its two individual channels. From here assign the channel for the single speaker to the Speaker LR output of an Audio Player.
This will downmix stereo to a mono channel.

Thank you very much for your response. My intallator has already fixed it in this way. Now the sound is really good.
Regards!
