With Door Lock Air, a door unlocks numerous practical features. Would you like some examples?
- Cross-location access: Access control does not end at the main entrance. With LOXONE, you can easily manage permissions for multiple locations in real time.
- The door as part of the alarm system: The right people are notified in case of dangern– for example, if a door is opened outside of operating hours.
- Enter with a wow effect: When the door is opened, the hotel room automatically welcomes guests with music, lighting and more.
Management is simple and intuitive via LOXONE Config and the LOXONE App. This provides unparalleled flexibility, especially in buildings with many doors that need to be locked – such as hotels or offices. There are no expensive changes to locking plans or license fees.

With the Door Lock Air Inductive, you can say goodbye to maintenance windows and battery replacement. Its counterpart in the door frame supplies it with power inductively. Once installed, you’ll never have to worry about your door lock again.
Which Doors are Compatible?
Although every door does the same thing, there are major differences. There are lots of regional or manufacturer-specific characteristics.
We developed the Door Lock Air in cooperation with the German experts from Südmetall. This enables us to offer as many variants for as many applications as possible.
The door must meet the following requirements:
It complies with DIN, ÖNORM, or Swiss standards.
If your door doesn’t meet these criteria, you can reach out to our cooperation partner, Südmetall – they can accommodate almost any custom requirement.
It has a profile or a round cylinder.
It is a solid panel, tubular frame, or glass door.
The door has a decoupled spindle.
This means that there is a door handle on both sides of the door. These can be pressed independently of each other.
