Good controls need no explanation. They’re just as intuitive as the rest of your smart building. But which controls are right for which project? How many control elements do I need per room, and which ones are best suited for which applications? Find out here.
Controls for the Building
Wall Display 10″
What?
A permanently installed wall display with the familiar LOXONE user interface – maintenance-free and clearly laid out.
Where?
At a central point in the building
What for?
Control centre for a building, a zone or a residential unit.
How many?
Depends on the project: one per residential unit or floor (single-family home), one per guest room (hotel), one per zone (industry, hospitality, office)
Controls for Central Rooms or Applications
Touch Pure Display
What?
A digital control with endless possibilities. Includes sensors for temperature, humidity and optionally CO2.
Where?
At a central point in the room, e.g. next to the door.
What for?
Lighting, shading, audio, music selection, climate and much more. The range of functions is constantly being expanded.
How many?
Depending on the use case, at least one per room. Works well in combination with the Touch Pure.
Touch Pure Flex
What?
A stylish control that you can customise, made just for you. With sensors for temperature, humidity and optionally CO2. Wired or battery-powered, for indoors or outdoors.
Where?
From the garage door to the swimming pool – the only limit is your imagination. The Touch Pure Flex blends seamlessly into any room.
What for?
For specific, clearly defined applications where everyone needs to know instantly which button to press. E.g. Wallbox with three charging modes; air conditioning control in the room.
How many?
Depends on the use case. From several per room (e.g. in a hotel) to 1–2 per building.
Controls for Every Room
Touch Pure Tree & Air
What?
An elegant glass switch following the LOXONE Switch Standard. With sensors for temperature, humidity and optionally CO2.
Where?
Ideally always within reach. Next to every door, next to the bed, etc.
What for?
Fast, intuitive control without having to think. By default, you control lighting, shading, audio and central functions for each room.
How many?
At least one per room. Ideally one switch per interior door.
Touch Tree & Air
What?
A compact plastic control with 5 touch points. Integrated sensors for temperature and humidity.
Where?
Anywhere you would normally install a light switch, e.g. next to every interior door.
What for?
For everything that needs to be at your fingertips. Control lighting, shading, audio and central functions following the LOXONE Switch Standard. At the same time, the integrated temperature and humidity sensors provide automatic climate control for the room.
How many?
At least one per room. A typical single-family home has around 10 installed on average.
Special Controls
Touch Surface Tree & Air
What?
Turns any non-metallic surface into a control with six touch points.
Where?
Wherever controls should blend seamlessly into their surroundings or conventional switches can’t be installed, e.g. in the worktop, in the shower or in furniture.
What for?
For when you want to stay in control, even in special situations. Control the most important building functions such as lighting, shading and audio. As the Touch Surface also works with wet hands, it is especially popular for use while cooking, bathing or in the sauna.
How many?
The Touch Surface can replace any other LOXONE switch. Find the right mix for your building.
Touch Nightlight Air
What?
Night light, control and alarm clock in one.
Where?
Looks best on the bedside table.
What for?
From the comfort of your bed, control lighting, audio, shading, your alarm and central room functions such as night mode.
How many?
One per bedroom or bed. There, it serves the same purpose as the Touch or Touch Pure.
Touch & Grill Air
What?
A grill thermometer with seven touch points, two temperature probes, a timer and a temperature alarm.
Where?
Whether in the kitchen or on the terrace – thanks to its built-in rechargeable battery, the Touch & Grill Air goes wherever the grill master goes.
What for?
Grill thermometer and building control in one. Barbecue on the terrace? Control the lighting and switch playlists while keeping an eye on the food.
How many?
As it’s portable, one Touch & Grill Air per building is usually enough. The temperature probes can also be removed, turning the Touch & Grill into a discreet mobile control.

What?
A configurable remote control for the building. Follows the LOXONE Switch Standard.
Where?
Ideal on the coffee table or on the terrace – anywhere without a switch within reach.
What for?
A remote control you understand instantly. Intuitive, with no searching for buttons – because it works just like every LOXONE switch. Perfect for audio, shading and lighting, with extra buttons for audio control.
How many?
One for every spot where switches are hard to reach or where you want to stay comfortably seated, e.g. while watching TV or on the terrace.

What?
The free app for your building. Gives you access to all LOXONE functions.
