Two-Factor Authentication for LOXONE Accounts
Effective immediately, LOXONE accounts are even more secure thanks to two-factor authentication (2FA). In addition to your password, you’ll confirm logins with a temporary one-time code that you’ll receive via email.
The effort is minimal, but the protection is significant: According to Microsoft and Google, 2FA prevents well over 99% of automated account takeovers.
How it works
- Log in with your LOXONE Account as usual.
- You will receive a one-time code by email.
- Enter the code in the login window – your login is now confirmed.
2FA is supported from Version 17.2.10.21 (Release) and Version 17.3.10.22 (Beta) of the LOXONE Config. To continue using our tools as usual, an update to one of these two versions is required.
