Confident Planning Starts With the Right System
Think across trades, plan efficiently.
Less Complexity. More Clarity in Your Planning.
Good building services engineering requires facts. Clear structures. Reliable documentation. Systems that work.
LOXONE is the backbone of your planning:
A coordinated all-in-one system that simplifies complexity behind the scenes – and takes the pressure off you as a planner.
Cross-Disciplinary
Expertise
Instead of many individual systems, you’re planning a centralized control system. LOXONE combines all features into a single control system.
Full Control & Automated Reporting
Your specifications, your rules. LOXONE operates reliably and redundantly, providing all the data needed for energy management and certifications.
As a Planner, You Design the Backbone
All-in-one building integration: With LOXONE, you can integrate PV, HVAC and lighting into a single system.
Our Core Competencies for Your Technical Planning
LOXONE Technologies
LOXONE’s Link and Tree technologies minimize interface risks and improve planning efficiency through native sector coupling and simplified wiring topologies.
A Comparison of Our Technologies
LOXONE Link
The System Cable (Control Unit)
- Connection between the Miniserver and extensions in the control cabinet
- Max. cable length: 500 m (total length of the Link bus across all extensions)
LOXONE Tree
The Field Bus (Periphery)
- Field bus for sensors and actuators
- Max. cable length: 500 m per tree branch
- Topology: Full flexibility – star, tree, line, or stick configurations are possible (no ring)
LOXONE Air
The Wireless Solution (Retrofit)
- Wireless integration of components (e.g., smoke detectors, window contacts)
- Mesh technology: Every device permanently connected to a power source amplifies the signal
Maximum Flexibility: The Miniserver, a True All-Rounder
Although our system is based on a consistent logic, LOXONE gives you complete freedom in choosing field devices.
Thanks to its open system architecture and numerous interfaces, LOXONE is the most flexible system for building services engineering.

Seamless Integration
Whether it’s KNX or manufacturer-specific interfaces, they’re all openly documented in the LOXONE Library.

Industry Standards
Native support for Modbus, BACnet, DALI and EEBUS.

Future-Proof
The intelligence operates locally on the Miniserver – data sovereignty and functionality are guaranteed.
Simple Networking for Projects of Any Size
As projects grow in scale, LOXONE has developed technologies that make complex installations manageable – even across locations around the world.

Tree Intercommunication
Enables simple, secure and reliable communication between different areas of a building. Independent of the local data network, ensuring maximum reliability and requiring no maintenance.

Network Intercommunication
Network intercommunication enables data exchange between Ethernet-connected Miniserver devices.

Trust
With LOXONE Trust, you can manage users across multiple locations and buildings: Employees have the same access everywhere – without the need for individual setup.

Multiplicator
The Multiplicator simplifies large-scale projects: Transfer the same configuration to all Miniserver devices with a single click – fully customizable.

Client Gateway
A Gateway Miniserver manages Client Miniservers in different parts of the building. For example: a gateway in the utility room, and clients in the office, production area and warehouse.
What Planning Offices Say About LOXONE
“Planning projects with LOXONE saves me a lot of time. LOXONE has put a lot of thought into building automation standards, which in turn helps me with the planning. Combined with the high-quality products and software, I’ve found the perfect solution for us.”
“We’ve been working with LOXONE for about 10 years, and the system has become indispensable to us. What really sets it apart is its simplicity – especially for us as designers and installers, but also for users, who can even make certain adjustments themselves without having to call in a professional right away.”

Is LOXONE a closed system, or will I run into vendor lock-in issues?
Don’t worry – LOXONE is a “jack-of-all-trades” with an open architecture. While the Miniserver serves as the central hub, we integrate via the KNX Extension. We also support native standards such as DALI, Modbus, BACnet and EEBUS, allowing you to choose field devices from any manufacturer.
A key factor for your planning security: The system operates locally on the Miniserver – data sovereignty and functionality are guaranteed even without an internet connection.
How does LOXONE help ensure compliance with the EPBD 2026 and DGNB certifications?
We provide ready-to-use tender documents and actively assist in meeting EPBD requirements, which mandate building automation for high efficiency classes.
Through integrated energy management and automatic reporting, the system delivers all the reliable data needed for documentation and drastically reduces energy consumption through precise load management – a significant advantage for DGNB or LEED audits.
Will I lose control over the interfaces between the different systems if I use an all-in-one system?
On the contrary. Thanks to the cross-system logic in the Miniserver (lighting, shading, HVAC, security), you drastically reduce the complexity of your implementation planning.
Clear lines of responsibility emerge: You plan the central intelligence instead of many error-prone individual systems and gateways, which minimizes the error rate and the coordination effort between the trades.
