LOXONE provides a support tool for project planning. This program assists the customer in selecting products, creating a bill of materials, and generating a basic configuration. However, this support tool does not exempt the customer from having the planning and configuration reviewed and approved by a qualified professional (licensed contractor).

The support tool does not take into account legal regulations (laws, ordinances, or standards) or the actual conditions or expectations present at the customer’s site; rather, it bases the planning and configuration solely on general experience values—without any claim to accuracy or completeness.

Therefore, LOXONE assumes no liability for the accuracy or completeness of the bill of materials or for the suitability of the configuration. LOXONE shall only be liable for direct or indirect damages, as well as consequential damages, arising in connection with the use of the project planning—regardless of the reason—if such damages were caused intentionally or through gross negligence by LOXONE. The amount of any such claims for damages shall be limited to the purchase value of the product that caused the damage.
