How does air conditioning control work with Loxone?
The AC Control Air is installed directly in the indoor units of the air conditioning systems. No additional cabling is required. This allows the air conditioning system to be controlled by the Miniserver. In many cases, a Miniserver Go is sufficient to control the air conditioning system.
Do I need additional cables or wiring?
No. The AC Control Air is mounted directly in the air conditioning system and powered by it.
Can I control an existing air conditioning system smartly?
Yes, it doesn’t matter whether an air conditioning system has been running for years or is new.
Which air conditioning systems can be controlled smartly?
Single and multi-split devices from Daikin, Fujitsu, Gree, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Sinclair, Toshiba and LG can be integrated using AC Control Air. You can use the model number here to check whether your air conditioner is supported.
Which spot price providers are supported?
Thanks to the direct connection to European and national electricity exchanges, almost all suppliers are supported.
Which Miniserver is required?
The air conditioning system can be controlled with a Miniserver including Air Base Extension, a Miniserver Compact or a Miniserver Go. In many cases, the Miniserver Go is completely sufficient and is therefore an inexpensive alternative.
