The costs for the required components – a Miniserver Go and an AC Control Air – are in the mid three-figure range. Only one more AC Control Air is required for each additional indoor unit, which can also be controlled with the same Miniserver. In addition to the costs for the components, there is also the installation and configuration by the Loxone Partner.
Can I control an existing air conditioning system smartly?
Yes, it doesn’t matter whether the air conditioning system has been running for years or is new.
Which air conditioning systems can be controlled smartly?
Single and multi-split devices from Daikin, Fujitsu, Gree, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Sinclair, Toshiba and LG can be integrated using AC Control Air. You can use the model number to check here whether your air conditioning system is supported.
Do I still need to have my remote control to hand?
No. Your smart air conditioning system runs fully automatically. If you want to intervene yourself, you can use the Loxone App. This is available for all platforms and devices, such as Android, iPhone, iPad, Mac, Windows, smartwatches, etc.
If you still want a control element in the room to control the air conditioning system, the Loxone Touch Pure Flex is the best option for you.

What is the difference between the Loxone app and the manufacturers app?
The Loxone App works cloud-free and you don’t need an account. All your data stays with you. There’s no need for any network-configurations, eliminating room for errors. You don’t need to connect and set up the wifi connection to every AC separately.
Also, the Loxone App available for all devices and platforms – you can even control your AC with your smart watch for example. The range of functions is far higher as well.
