AAL Smart Alarm
The Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) Smart Alarm function block enables intelligent detection of emergency situations. If an individual is in need of help, such as after a bad fall, the right help can be quickly contacted. A manual alarm is also available, for example, via an emergency button.
Automatic blinds
The Automatic Blinds function block has been enhanced to include the ID input for Door Contacts. Now, when an external door is opened, then the blinds will know to completely raise and the function block will become locked to avoid automatic shading for that specific blind. Operation though the app will remain unlocked.
Skylight control
The new Skylight function block makes it possible to automate roof windows. Your customers will then be able to control their skylight/roof window conveniently within the Loxone App.
Skylight shades
With the addition of skylight/roof window control, you can also automate and control any associated motorized blinds. The new Skylight Shades function block works as part of Automatic Shading logic, while taking into account the inclination.
Alarm Sequence
The new Alarm Sequence function block can trigger a chain of notifications to be implemented with ease by our partners. When an alarm is triggered, this function block can make it possible to notify up to 10 people by phone, email or push-notification. Plus, this feature also allows for transfer of text elements, so the person on the other end will be informed of exactly which sensor has been triggered.
Note: our Caller Service is required for the Loxone Miniserver to place phone calls.

Miniserver update

Another new feature is that a Miniserver update can be initiated directly from the app. You can define the authorization for each user group individually. Administrators and user groups with access to the Loxone Config can perform an update at any time through the Loxone App.

Biometric authentication of passwords
With the new Loxone App, passwords can be entered by using biometric authentication such as fingerprint or FaceID. This visualization password, for example to activate the alarm, can also be entered quickly and easily using the new authentication process
