FAQs
Which cable must be used to supply the intercom?
The Intercom is powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet). Please refer to the data sheet for the technical specifications.
Can the Intercom also be retrofitted?
Yes, the compact design enables uncomplicated retrofitting – even without a flush-mounted box. Installation is simple and flush-mounted. Four wires are required for the PoE supply for operation
Can the NFC Code Touch be retrofitted?
Yes, the NFC Code Touch can be easily retrofitted – without the need for a flush-mounted box. Two variants are available depending on the application:
- Battery-operated: Flexible and can be used without wiring.
- 24V-powered: For a permanent power supply.
Is the NFC Code Touch weatherproof?
Yes, thanks to its high protection rating (IP 44), it is ideal for outdoor use. The frosted real glass surface can also be cleaned without leaving any residue.
Note: Very high temperatures can occur on anthracite-colored facades with direct sunlight – this can damage plastic parts.
Does the Intercom have anti-theft protection?
Yes, this is detected by the software when the intercom is unplugged. This information can be used in the building automation system and processed further as required (e.g. alarms, logging, etc.).
