Depending on how you interact with us, we collect the following categories of personal information:

– Commercial information: orders and purchase history; payment details are processed by our payment service providers
– Professional information: company name and partner status (e.g. prospect, partner)

– Job application information: if you apply for a job with us

– Loxone Partners: if you use our “Find a Partner” feature, we forward your contact details to the partner you selected
– Affiliated companies of the Loxone group, in particular Loxone Electronics GmbH in Austria
– Analytics and advertising partners such as Google, Microsoft, Meta and Dealfront/Leadfeeder (see sections 5 and 6)
– Authorities and other parties where required by law or to protect our rights

5. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the website to work; others help us analyze usage and show you advertising. We use the following tools:
– Google Analytics 4, Google Ads (conversion tracking and remarketing) and Google Tag Manager (see section 6)
– Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps, session recording)

Google and other third-party vendors use cookies to analyze the use of our website and to show you ads on other websites based on your previous visits to our website. For this purpose, usage data such as pages visited, device and browser information and your approximate location are transmitted to Google. Google Analytics 4 does not store your IP address. Google cookies are retained for up to 2 years.

7. Sale and sharing of personal information

We do not sell personal information for money. However, when advertising partners such as Google, Microsoft and Meta collect information through cookies and pixels on our website for interest-based advertising, this may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or “targeted advertising”, under certain US state privacy laws. This concerns identifiers (such as cookie IDs and IP addresses) and internet activity.

Your choice: You can opt out by declining or withdrawing marketing cookies via the “Manage consent” button on our website, or by emailing [email protected] with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share”.

We use Mailworx to send newsletters. We only send newsletters after you have confirmed your subscription (double opt-in). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every newsletter or by contacting us at [email protected].

10. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required by law:
– Server logs: up to 365 days
– Form data: until your request has been processed or transferred to our CRM
– CRM and customer data: as long as the customer relationship is active or legal retention obligations apply
– Order data: as required by tax and commercial law
– Job applications: 6 months after the end of the application process
– Newsletter: until you unsubscribe

11. International data transfers

Loxone is an international group headquartered in Austria. Your personal information may be transferred to and processed in Austria and other countries, including India (Zoho). We protect your information with appropriate contractual and technical safeguards.

12. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including SSL/TLS encryption, multi-factor authentication, access controls, and VPN and key-pair authentication for critical systems.

13. Children

Our website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
