The investor was looking for a reliable access system that would ensure the safety and comfort of the residents of the dormitory and the Zeitraum Racławicka hotel – students and other tenants. The key requirement was the ability to check in and out independently without the need for a receptionist, as well as full control over user flow and room occupancy.

The facility has implemented an integrated Loxone system in cooperation with the Reservify platform – a self-service smart booking kiosk. The kiosk issues programmed NFC cards that users can use to open their assigned areas, such as their room, the main entrance or common areas. The device also supports payments, and the manager receives real-time information about room occupancy.
The Loxone system also controls access to the car park and barrier, ensuring smooth and fully automated operation of the entire facility.
This is a perfect example of how smart technologies do not always have to be complicated – sometimes their strength lies in simplicity, reliability and security.
