The new xt Campus in Wels, with 11,034 m² of net usable area, is one of Loxone's largest projects: A total of 1,639 Loxone components are installed, networked via 31 Miniservers and approximately 15 km of Loxone Tree cabling.

The lighting system comprises approximately 3,000 luminaires: around 2,700 luminaires controlled via DALI, around 300 luminaires from Wever & Ducré controlled via Loxone Tree, and Loxone LED Ceiling Lights Tree. For heating and cooling, 415 Loxone Tree actuators control the heating circuits at 45 underfloor heating manifolds. In addition, there are 58 fan coil units in ceiling cassettes. 65 Loxone Belimo Tree actuators control a total of 221 actuators via the Belimo MP bus: 45 zone valves, 94 6-way valves for switching between heating and cooling, and 82 variable volume flow controllers for ventilation. Sound is provided by 112 Loxone 10" Install Speakers in master-client mode.

The 512 kWp photovoltaic system is largely integrated into the facade and covers the building's entire energy needs with approximately 500,000 kWh per year.

The entire building automation system at the xt Campus runs on Loxone. Thirty-one Miniserver Compact units are distributed throughout the building and connected to the network. Approximately 15 km of Loxone Tree cable connects the devices in the rooms, resulting in a streamlined and structured cabling system.

In each room, presence detectors and Touch Pure Flex devices with CO₂ sensors monitor occupancy and air quality. Loxone uses this data to automatically control lighting, heating/cooling, and ventilation. Around 2,700 luminaires operate via DALI Extensions, and approximately 300 Wever & Ducré luminaires use Tree. 415 Tree actuators control the underfloor heating. 65 Belimo Tree units directly control 45 zone valves, 94 6-way valves for the fan coil units and manifolds, and 82 volume flow controllers via MP-Bus. This allows Loxone to control heating, cooling, and ventilation for each room simultaneously, without requiring a separate room control system.

Access is via NFC code touch, along with the Loxone Intercom. 112 installed speakers provide sound and announcements. 22 wallboxes and energy meters are integrated with the 512 kWp photovoltaic system into a unified energy management system.
