Conti Thun, an elegant and famous wine cellar on Lake Garda, wanted to be able to better control the temperature and humidity at certain stages in their process of wine production. The Conti Thun winery chose to have Loxone implemented for temperature control in 3 different areas: controlling the barrels, the wine in the dwelling (in this area the temperature control works in combination with humidity control) and in the cartons warehouse. The goal was to control the most delicate stages of winemaking, where you have to be able to keep the temperature at the precise optimum at all times. It is for example essential for optimal production of wine that there are no sudden changes in temperature during fermentation.



In addition, a big advantage now for the owners, since installing Loxone, is that the system is very monitorable and changes can easily be made, if necessary, through the app at any time from anywhere. This means that interventions can be made much faster, reducing the impact of the issue and ultimately save the owners money.
