Smart guesthouse and glass factory

The owner of the glass factory and guesthouse Zikmundov wanted a unified management system for the recreational part and technological equipment in the glass factory, including the use of excess heat. In such a large facility, the owner could not imagine that the technologies would not be unified, it would lead to low efficiency and insufficient control over operational processes. In addition, a large amount of residual heat was generated in the glass factory, which the owner wanted to use to save energy on the premises. That's why we decided to find a solution that would help the owner effectively manage and monitor the operation of the entire building and at the same time use the residual heat from the glass factory.

Thanks to Loxone, the apartment has turned into an intelligent refuge for the guests. They can now control various functions through the simple and intuitive Touch Pure button or even remotely using the iPad at their disposal. Loxone enables convenient control of outdoor blinds, curtains, awnings, lighting, heating and cooling directly via iPad. Loxone also allows guests to choose from a variety of lighting modes, including a "cinema" mode for a cozy movie-watching atmosphere. Convenient access to the apartments is ensured by NFC Touch Code, and thanks to the weather station in front of the apartment, guests have access to current meteorological data. An incredible amount of residual heat is created in the adjacent glass factory during the day, which would otherwise escape. So the question arose - why not use the residual heat? Thanks to energy management, we found the right answer. The system accumulates heat directly under the glasshouse, and then uses it to heat adjacent spaces, including the pool and apartments. Residual heat will also be used to heat the orangery, which is already under construction. This not only saves energy, but at the same time waste energy becomes a useful source of heat. The owner can conveniently monitor energy consumption statistics in the app. Zikmundov is thus an example of a modern and intelligent recreational facility that, thanks to Loxone technology, meets the needs of guests and represents inspiration for the future.
