Smart Home - Lyon Region

Homeowners, initially reluctant to embrace home automation, perceived it as complex and unreliable. They wanted a connected home capable of managing lighting, shading, audio and security intuitively, without having to install multiple switches or adapt to different systems.

Expérience Habitat implemented a progressive and fully customised approach. The project began with the control of essential parameters, such as humidity and temperature, to create optimal comfort. Lighting was then integrated, with presence detection and automatic scenarios adapted to the movements of the occupants.

Shading was automated to adjust according to natural light and comfort needs. Multiroom audio was added, allowing the owners to play music in all rooms, or only where they want, with simple and intuitive control.

For ambiance, addressable LEDs were installed in the staircase for gradual light gradients, and custom scenarios were configured for different moods throughout the home. Finally, the security system was integrated, with alarms and notifications in case of intrusion, all fully centralised and communicating thanks to Loxone.

The gradual approach allowed the owners to discover and adopt each feature step by step, transforming what was initially a ‘complex’ house into a fluid, intuitive environment that could be adapted to suit the whole family.
