Challenge
Retrofitting a house with Air Technology. Photovoltaics and storage were added. An emergency power function was requested to keep the homeowner's aquarium, and therefore the dosing system and pumps, running.
Solution
The miniserver and network components were connected to the emergency power supply. A Tree cable was run to the first floor through the existing conduit. Another cable was run to the basement to control the Tree actuators.
The energy management system utilizes PV and battery power, ensuring a balanced supply throughout the house, e.g., heating elements for hot water when there is excess PV power.

Since retrofitting required a scalable and flexible system, only LOXONE was suitable. Because the homeowner has IT skills, he continued the project, which we then provided ongoing support for.
