New ASPIDA building

ASPIDA is a company specializing in the design and construction of ultra-clean and deployable controlled environments. It develops negative pressure rooms for infectious patients, autonomous operating theaters, and clean rooms, primarily for hospitals but also for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and space industries.



As part of the construction of its new building, ASPIDA chose to integrate the Loxone automation solution to control key functions such as lighting, access control, charging stations, and indoor climate.

LIGHTING: The DALI lighting (approximately 120 devices) is fully automated: it turns on as soon as movement is detected and turns off after a period of inactivity. Light intensity automatically adapts to the natural light and presence in each room. Lighting scenes can be easily selected via the Touch wall controls. Centralized control also allows all circuits to be turned on or off with a single touch.



DETECTION: Presence detectors are discreetly installed in all rooms and zones to automatically turn the lights on when movement is detected and off when no one is present. They also allow scenarios to be triggered and energy savings to be achieved on a daily basis. In rooms that are rarely used, the comfort temperature is only activated when presence is detected.



ENERGY: The four Loxone 11kW charging stations benefit from optimized management with dynamic sharing of available energy. A customizable eco mode allows for efficient load distribution with the option to manually prioritize. An energy flow monitor using meters located in the electrical panel, charging stations, or smart outlets allows for precise tracking of the building's electricity consumption.



ACCESS: The building is equipped with a smart access control system with NFC Code Touch readers, providing secure and convenient access. Certain doors are subject to personalized restrictions based on user profiles. Access can be easily managed from the mobile app or Touch wall controls, with the ability to unlock doors remotely. Temporary codes can be generated for occasional visitors, increasing flexibility.



CONTROL: Standard Touch interfaces are present in all rooms and combine all useful functions into a single control point: lighting, temperature, humidity, music control, and door opening. A customized Touch Pure Flex interface is also installed to centralize the building's main functions.



MULTIROOM AUDIO: The multi-room audio system with Loxone Master-Client technology covers all rooms, allowing for individual or group audio playback as needed. The speakers also broadcast the building's doorbell and alarm system alerts, enhancing security and comfort. Occupants can easily listen to their music via streaming, Bluetooth, or AirPlay from their smartphone. Every day, a personalized audio welcome message greets employees upon arrival.



INDOOR CLIMATE: The building benefits from intelligent room-by-room climate control thanks to smart thermostats, allowing precise temperature adjustments to meet individual needs. The four ducted units equipped with Airzone plenums are controlled via Modbus and efficiently heat and cool the offices. Users have customizable schedules and comfort settings that can be modified according to their schedules and preferences. In some rooms, a switch on the windows automatically shuts off the heating or air conditioning in the event of a significant temperature difference with the outside.



SECURITY: The building's security relies on a comprehensive system including remote video surveillance and real-time monitoring of presence and door status. When away mode is activated, the alarm system is automatically triggered, using motion detectors, speakers, an external siren, and lighting to signal any intrusion. Occupants can thus monitor their building remotely with complete peace of mind.



AWAY MODE: When the building goes into away mode, a series of automatic actions ensure an optimized departure for employees: automatic turning off of lights and music, verification that all doors and windows are closed with immediate notification in the event of an anomaly, and automatic switching of the air conditioning to economy mode. Exiting away mode is done only via NFC badge authentication.



MISCELLANEOUS: The centralized management interface provides real-time access to all key building information such as lighting, temperature, and presence. Users can easily control these settings remotely and access detailed history and statistics, ensuring efficient and informed management. A dedicated dashboard allows users to view the status of the four ducted units in real time, as well as the ambient temperature in each zone.
