The Next.Move fitness center needed a way to manage the technology for its Prague branch without taking up staff time that could be spent with clients. The goal was to unify the management of air conditioning, heating, sauna and swimming pool into one clear system, ensure stable consumption in the exercise rooms and wellness area throughout the operating hours, and at the same time distribute energy so that the center could withstand the limits of high electrical capacities. The solution was also to allow monitoring and control of both locations from one place, without each of them having separate supervision.

The LOXONE system continuously collects data from all branches and adjusts their operation accordingly. After each lesson – especially after a challenging hot yoga session – it automatically adjusts the temperature and ventilation of the hall, so that it is ready for the next group within a few minutes. The sauna heats up to the set temperature before the center opens throughout the day without operator intervention, while the temperature of the pool is monitored and regulated. Staff has an overview of the entire operation thanks to a single tablet application, in which they monitor the branches simultaneously and only deal with exceptions that really require their attention. In addition, the system intelligently distributes energy consumption between individual technologies, so that the center operates the air conditioning, sauna and pool without any problems, even within the limits of the high electrical capacities of the buildings.
