The owner of a private home in Kuala Lumpur had a clear vision: a home that was completely self-controlled. No switches, apps, or voice assistants should be necessary—instead, an intelligent home that automatically responds to his movements and seamlessly adjusts lighting, music, climate, and shading.

The focus was on achieving true automation rather than a collection of individual devices. Fragmented isolated solutions and multiple apps were out of the question. What was required was a stable, holistic system at the infrastructure level that centrally combined all functions.

The key challenges included the flexible creation of lighting groups without rewiring, maintaining a clear, minimalist wall aesthetic, and intelligent shading that dynamically adjusts to the position of the sun. In addition, a continuous multi-room audio system was integrated throughout the house.

Comprehensive energy monitoring and a reliable emergency power supply also ensure transparency, efficiency, and operational safety. The result is a fully automated living concept that combines comfort, technology, and design in perfect balance—without any manual intervention.

We delivered a fully unified LOXONE smart home system where all functions operate under one central logic engine.

Unified 360° Automation:
Lighting, music, security, and curtains are integrated into one platform. Each area is equipped with LOXONE Touch Pure switches, while the living area features LOXONE Touch Pure Flex for expanded scenes and other controls.

24V DC Intelligent Lighting:
All lighting runs on 24V DC for improved efficiency and safety. Through LOXONE Tree technology, lighting groups can be easily configured and modified via software without rewiring. lights can be dimmed and color-adjusted based on mood preferences a feature the homeowner particularly enjoys for evening ambience and entertainment.

Each area is equipped with LOXONE Touch Pure, while the living space features Loxone Touch Pure Flex for expanded scene and device control maintaining clean aesthetics with minimal wall clutter.

Sun-Position Curtain Control:
Curtains automatically adjust based on real-time sun position. When direct sunlight reaches specific façades, shading responds proactively to maintain comfort and reduce heat gain.

Multiroom Audio Integration:
Music plays a key role in the homeowner’s lifestyle. Each room is equipped with ceiling speakers for seamless multiroom audio. In the living area, the TV is connected to two wall-mounted speakers and one dedicated bass speaker, delivering an immersive entertainment experience. Audio is fully integrated into the automation system for effortless control.

Energy Monitoring & Backup:
A centralized LOXONE power supply with backup enables energy monitoring, improved management, and continued operation during power outages.
