Ginger Wings - Marlow

The client wanted a fully dimmable lighting system that would deliver both functionality and atmosphere without relying on traditional wall-mounted dimmer knobs. They required intuitive central control for various lighting zones. This includes the DJ booth, bar, seating area, toilets, and exterior, with the flexibility to create and select lighting moods that reflect the Ginger Wings brand colours. Access also needed to be managed so that only managers could enter the building at certain times, while staff had limited app permissions of just lighting to prevent accidental changes.

We delivered a sophisticated lighting control system powered by the Loxone Miniserver, combining RGBW LED Strip and dimmable lighting to manage multiple lighting circuits from 1 app and 1 switch. The Touch Tree switches and Presence Sensors provide local, intuitive control.



Custom lighting scenes were created for different zones, allowing the customer to easily set the desired mood or activate a unified “last one out” function via a triple tap, turning off all internal lighting. External lighting is automated with a night-time scene that operates from sunset to sunrise, ensuring consistent and efficient lighting control across the venue.
