Challenge
The key challenge?
Unifying the control of Samsung heat pumps, GivEnergy PV and battery systems, and Aico fire alarms into one seamless experience that was intuitive for tenants and manageable for the housing association.
Solution
Residents can control their heating, hot water, and energy use across multiple zones, while receiving guidance to optimise efficiency and reduce bills.
The Aico fire alarm system integrates directly with the Loxone platform, enabling immediate fault notifications and enhanced safety.
Smart tariff support and energy usage optimisation help make the most of every drop of solar power, with minimal interaction required from the tenant.
Importantly, the entire system was installed by the main electrical contractor on site, without the need for specialist training or commissioning support, thanks to Zmart Hohm’s pre-configured design and documentation.
All homes were handed over with a consistent and simplified user interface. Sovereign was also offered Zmart Space remote support packs, allowing real-time diagnostics, fault alerts, and proactive maintenance across their housing stock.
