Cieľ projektu
Efficiency and precision are fundamental pillars in the industry and automation is the ideal solution to achieve this. With this approach in mind, we have automated TMC, a company specialized in the manufacture of agricultural, forestry and hydraulic machinery.
The main objective of this project was to centralize and automate various functions within the company. From ventilation and lighting control to energy management and machine maintenance, every aspect was meticulously considered to improve operational efficiency and minimize downtime.

To address these challenges, we opted for the installation of several Miniservers (Programmable Logic Controller) strategically distributed throughout the facilities. What stands out in this implementation is the use of the "Gateway" function, which allows all Miniservers to work independently but be displayed in a unified way. This allows you to see the entire project in a single view from the app.
In this way, security is not only increased by preventing a failure from affecting the entire installation, but it also simplifies supervision and control from a single interface.
Production area control
One of the most notable features of the project is the ability to detect and notify any anomaly or need for maintenance. Given the considerable number of welding robots and cutting centers in operation, the stoppage of one of these machines could mean a delay in production and, therefore, a considerable economic loss.
To avoid this, integration with Loxone is key. All the machinery distributed in the 9 warehouses is controlled through their schedules and operating times. This constant monitoring allows any irregularity to be detected and notifications sent immediately to staff.
In order to act as quickly as possible, a cascade call system has been implemented: it begins with the person responsible for the affected machine, and if they do not respond, the call is transferred to the next in the chain, be it another employee or the maintenance. This tiered approach minimizes downtime and generates statistical data that can be analyzed to further optimize processes. On the other hand, IT racks are also subject to constant monitoring and proactive management. They are monitored and managed through temperature control and periodic pings, allowing IT specialists to access their areas and check the status in real time.
All notifications and calls are also sent via email, making it easy to forward information, alerts and statistics to various departments as well as system administrators to maintain proper oversight at all times.
Access control
Currently, the company has 150 workers and continues to grow constantly, which has made user management a fundamental aspect. To address this need, a numerical code access control system was implemented using NFC Code Touch, both in the warehouses and in the offices.
This control system provides additional security by allowing the creation of different users and the assignment of personalized access according to individual needs. In addition, it allows you to keep a detailed record of all entries and exits.
In this case, access restrictions have been applied based on the position of the employees, their schedules and working days, automatically excluding holidays and vacations.
Through the app, user management is carried out in an intuitive and efficient way. It allows users to be organized into various categories, sections and positions, thus facilitating their administration and control. For example, it is possible to group employees into categories such as cleaning, transportation, offices, management, shift staff, IT, among others, and assign them specific permissions as necessary.
Energy management
Detailed energy control represents another essential component in this project. Network analyzers are used to monitor and alert on any deviations in electrical parameters, allowing accurate monitoring of power consumption and quality.
Additionally, a call notification system was implemented in case of power failures. This measure guarantees an agile and effective response to any incident, thus reinforcing the reliability and operational continuity of the system.
Lighting and ventilation control
On the other hand, lighting and ventilation control has also been implemented, both in production areas and in offices. This ensures an optimal working environment while minimizing energy consumption. Through automatic control, unnecessary expenses are avoided, such as leaving lights on outside established working hours.

The choice of Loxone as an automation system was based on its exceptional management capacity and its ability to store data and statistics effectively. In addition, its functionality to make calls, send emails and group projects from different Miniservers, distributed in several automated areas, was decisive. And of course, because of the flexibility it offers to easily adapt and expand in the future.
