Loxone Germany
The German market plays a key role in achieving this goal. For this, in April 2018 we opened such a “basecamp” for the newly founded Loxone Germany GmbH – located in Wäschenbeuren near Stuttgart. This is much more than just country headquarters; it’s a promise to our Partners and customers in the German market.
One of Europe’s most modern office buildings
With a picturesque view over the surrounding hills and meadows, the brand new basecamp can be found on the outskirts of Wäschenbeuren. Heart and soul, time, creativity and – not least – capital was invested in the building, which was built in 2015, all totaling $8.5 million.
Today, the retrospectively fully automated building contains the entire smart Loxone product range and everything a Real Smart Home would desire. It is probably one of the most modern office buildings in Europe.
Room for ideas
With the large and open-plan concept, an environment was created in which employees can work together. An already flat hierarchical structure is able to contribute actively on a variety of ideas and projects. Such a collective, open opportunity for exchange inspires each other to always be on the lookout for the next great idea and how we can work together to achieve it.
The ingenious acoustic concept ensures that excessive noise is not a negative effect of having such an open office space.

Smart working
One of the main focus points when planning the new basecamp: the employees.
High-quality materials, ergonomic office equipment, state-of-the-art technology and the level of comfort found in a Loxone Smart Home ensure a pleasant working atmosphere.

Concentration station
Anyone who wants to get their head down to focus on a task at hand, can retreat to one of several concentration spots in the 650 sqm space.
Whether completely chilled in the cozy sofa corners, standing at the coffee bar, or on the roof terrace with a wonderful view of the greenery – there are plenty of spaces for great ideas.
Meeting areas
When a great idea hits, it’s easy to get carried away in the excitement. Ideas need to be unpacked and properly discussed to assess the details map a way forward. For this, you can step into a quiet meeting room with the relevant members of the team to iron out the details.
Of course, these meetings room have everything you need to fuel the creative and process.

A nutritious diet keeps us fit – and that includes a healthy mind. That is why our employees are pampered daily with fresh and delicious, restaurant-quality meals made from regional products. At cost price. Of course, sparkling water and fresh fruit are free.

Germany is one of our key markets. Here we want to grow in cooperation with our local Partners and customers. Our basecamp is a commitment to that. A promise of being there for you and giving best possible service!
As we grow into world market leaders, this basecamp will help us stick to that promise in the future with Loxone Germany offices already able to accommodate 30 employees. Of course, we’re already planner bigger and better things…
Loxone Academy
The brand new training center is one of the ways we are meeting the promise of being more accessible. It was extremely important to us to finally be able to guarantee our German partners and customers an optimal training experience.
It used to require a long journey to the basecamp in Kollerschlag, Austria – we now offer the ideal conditions for top training courses in the heart of Baden-Württemberg. In an environment that is proudly Loxone to the core.
Grill & Chill
Work done for the day, it’s time to unwind. With its barbecue and wonderful views, the roof terrace not only offers you a sunny lunch spot but is also inviting for a relaxing after-work sundowner. After all, hard work should be rewarded.
A rigorous game of table tennis or table football are also great ways to de-stress.

Made in Germany
The basecamp includes an ultra-modern electronics production facility located on two floors. Baudisch Electronic GmbH has been successfully manufacturing electronic parts at the Wäschenbeuren site since 1992.
After the takeover of Baudisch Electronic GmbH by Loxone, several million Euros have been invested in the expansion of the production line. The output could be increased from 8,000 to 80,000 components per hour.

Complete with marching band
(Okay, this might not be a permanent fixture in the Germany basecamp…) On 19th and 20th April 2018, it finally happened. In the company of high-ranking guests from the political and business arenas, our Partners, international Loxonauts as well as many Smart Home fans, a new chapter in Loxone’s history was started with the opening of Loxone Germany GmbH.
