Renovation with Loxone – Wake up and smell the coffee!
The coffee shop was originally a local produce market. However, after that closed up, Gabika and Zuzka saw this opportunity to completely renovate the building. The architects really wanted to awaken the space with functionality and versatility in mind, blending the exterior and interior.
The ground floor welcomes visitors with a friendly and inviting seating area for customers. The top floor, a multi-functional space with movable furniture, even offers beautiful views of a local vineyard.
Functional space with lighting control
The lighting has more than meets the eyes. For example in the upstairs room, dimmable LED Strips allow multifunctional use of space for presentations, social events or even fitness classes. Lighting moods can be created on the fly in the Loxone App, giving the shop owners and employees different access rights and maximum flexibility in any area of the shop.
Exterior & security
After dark, the coffee house stands out beautifully with its automated interior lighting bursting out into its surroundings. Great emphasis was placed on the security of the building. Through the use of Presence Sensors, Door & Window Contacts, security cameras and even an emergency generator, Coffee Shopa now has a comprehensive, reliable security system.
Thoughts from our Loxone Partner on the intelligent climate control:
In the summer months, the building is cooled using four air conditioners units. Each zone to be controlled separately, but from one system, rather than having to adjust multiple air conditioning controllers. This means that these remotes are now gathering dust on a shelf somewhere.
The fully automatic ventilation mode is regulated by carbon dioxide sensors located on each floor. This guarantees an immediate supply of fresh air to the individual parts of the coffee shop, if necessary.“
