Challenge

The aim of this project was to gradually renovate the old building with 10 residential units from 1900. With Loxone it should be possible to support the KfW70 standard.

Solution

The Loxone actuator makes intelligent room-based temperature control possible. This means that the heating energy can be used optimally and saves energy. The existing heating including pellet burner and the heat pump were integrated into the Loxone system. The lighting is controlled with Loxone and switches on automatically as soon as someone enters the room. Various lighting moods can be added using the Loxone app to create the right atmosphere for every occasion. In addition, automatic shading offers great added value for the residents. In summer, this ensures that the rooms do not overheat. In winter, however, natural heat is used for heating. This saves a lot of energy and also ensures the necessary privacy.

Overall system with all aspects of control and regulation is easily possible with Loxone. Step by step integration of the individual residential units. A perfect companion for 4 years.
