Lüneburg Water Tower

The Lüneburg Water Tower is a historic monument and serves as a museum, observation deck, and event space. The building is 56 meters tall and extends over six floors. All levels are equipped with exhibits and displays on the theme of water. Level 2 also features a large room where weddings, celebrations, and concerts take place. As part of an extensive renovation, all levels were automated. Wasserturm e.V. places great importance on sustainability. Hence the motivation to save as much energy as possible. A perfect project for LOXONE.

A comprehensive LOXONE Air project. In addition to the base station on the ground floor, consisting of a Miniserver, a Relay, a Tree, and an Air Base Extension, a Tree-to-Air Bridge was installed on each level via a central supply shaft. Numerous Presence Detector Airs detect visitors and, via an equal number of Nano IOs and Smart Socket Airs, switch on the lighting and exhibits. Level 2 and the exterior of the tower are connected via two DMX Extensions and control the RGBW architectural and ambient lighting. A central button in the checkout area switches the entire tower to "operating mode." A timer, coupled with time functions such as sunrise and sunset, controls the exterior lighting. User rights restrictions allow guests on Level 2 to design their own lighting during celebrations.
