Challenge
Loxone partner AK-Elektrotechnik has already automated numerous buildings on the site of the "Bergischer Abfallwirtschaftsverband". When planning the Tiny Houses, it quickly became clear that the entire Loxone technology should also be used here. The aim and challenge was to optimally combine all trades in the smallest possible space.
Solution
Two types of PV systems were installed on the building - on the roof and on the facade. The rear-ventilated facade ensures that warm air is continuously extracted when heated and directed to the heat pump. In cooling mode, the facade is only ventilated to increase the efficiency of the PV system.
Various lighting scenarios can be created at any time via the Loxone app to create the right atmosphere for any occasion. Presence detectors ensure that lighting and music are only activated where people are present. Lighting, shading and audio can also be controlled manually using the control elements. While the elegant Touch Pure is used in the rooms, the kitchen worktop is equipped with the Touch Surface. This transforms every surface into a control element. A click in the middle changes the lighting mood, while the side buttons control shading and audio.
The intercom in combination with the NFC Code Touch forms a secure access system for the house. Access authorizations are conveniently managed via the Loxone app, which also shows who is ringing the doorbell.
For short-term rentals, access can be set up quickly via the Loxone app and sent to the tenant using a QR code. Billing data such as electricity and water consumption can also be forwarded to the operator immediately.
