The challenge was to network and visualize nine buildings of different ages and uses with a single controller.

In the summer of 2022, the existing oil heating will be replaced by a pellet heating system (300kW) and should be seamlessly integrated into the existing control system.

Different operating modes should control the flow of energy in summer and winter, pellet heating via long-distance pipeline in winter, and local heat pumps in summer to generate the hot water.

Due to the large variety of components from Loxone, we were able to replace all existing controls and expand the range of functions.

With a Miniserver as a concentrator in the heating center and various extensions and Miniservers in the nine buildings, we were able to cover all of the customer's needs.

The buildings are supplied with energy in winter via 3 long-distance lines. In summer, hot water is generated by local heat pumps. Only the changeover from summer to winter operation is carried out by the customer, everything else is completely under the control.
