Smart Home Wittlaer

This smart home was built in Düsseldorf in 2021. The requirement was that the entire house could be controlled via a single app. In this property, all functions such as lighting, shading, heating and cooling as well as wellness were implemented with Loxone.

The installation was installed in a star shape from the meter cabinet or floor distributor. All components used could be directly networked with each other and communicate via the mini server. Loxone now relieves residents of countless tasks every day. The automatic shading depends on the position of the sun and uses the natural heat in winter for heating in order to save energy. In summer, however, care is taken to ensure that the rooms do not heat up too much.



All interior and exterior lighting was also automated with Loxone. Thanks to presence detection, the light switches on exactly where it is needed. Different lighting moods can be created using the Loxone app. These perfectly showcase the cozy living area and the garden with pool for any occasion.



The Loxone app also offers great added value - it perfectly meets the owners' requirement to be able to manage everything in one app. The Loxone system can be flexibly expanded and so this smart home is already in the next planning phase: an expansion to include a photovoltaic system with energy optimization. Thanks to the appealing visualization in the Loxone app, you can see how much energy is currently being consumed, produced and fed into the grid.
