This office building in Germany was equipped with Loxone by Loxone partner SIB - Schauer Ingenieurbüro. The goal was to automate the control of lighting and shading.

Solution
- External Venetian blind control via Nano 2 Relay Tree with automated shading, alternatively manual intervention via Touch switch.
- Lighting control via relays. Automated control supported by Presence Sensors. Manual switching via Loxone Touch. Automated switch-off at the end of the day.
- Fire alarm transmission via Loxone Trust from another Miniserver. Improvement of the alarm through light switching and external blind control in the event of a fire alarm.
Automated lighting and shading provide greater comfort for employees in the office building. The retrofitted Venetian blinds were seamlessly integrated into Loxone using the Nano 2 Relay and help to keep the building pleasantly cool in summer without additional air conditioning.
The intelligent lighting is based on data from the Presence Sensors. Thanks to the reliable detection of movement and presence, the lighting only activates in areas where someone is actually present. In addition, all light in the building is automatically switched off at the end of the day to avoid unnecessary energy consumption. Furthermore, lighting and shading can also be controlled individually via the attached Touch switch with just one tap.
