Smart Living is conquering the rental housing market

The Wegmatten development in Allschwil, Basel, includes a total of 168 rental apartments, around 130 of which are to be equipped with SmartHome technology. The lighting, the shading and the indoor climate, including the room ventilation, in all apartments will be upgraded to the current state of the art by means of sensible automatic functions such as automatic shading and alarm functions in the event of absence, as well as, for example, lighting moods or a night light function.

In addition to the classic operating elements such as buttons and presence detectors, which can be kept to a minimum thanks to Loxone's innovative operating concept, tenants have the option of calling up and operating their home via mobile app and allthings concierge app.



All apartments benefit from centrally recorded weather data. Error messages from the general area are transmitted to the control center via our own technical network. In this way, administration and support can be made much more efficient for both property management and maintenance.
