Smart house in Łódź

The aim of the project was to save the client from a wrongly installed and abandoned intelligent building installation. We focused on restoring the functionality of the devices and creating additional automation, changes that the investor could not ask the previous installer to make.

Resolving errors in the project turned out to be complicated and time-consuming. We started by analyzing the existing installation and at first glance we saw several incorrectly connected devices.

Further problems were: flickering lighting circuits, inability to control air conditioners, driveway and gutter heating not connected, external RGBW LED lighting not working, lack of data on the level of septic tank filling.

We started our work by repairing the addressable LED lighting in front of the house, where the problem turned out to be incorrect wiring. To restore the functionality of the lighting, we installed new wiring and changed the control method. The next stage of our work was the repair of the Modbus bus and the integration of all air conditioners in the facility so that they cooperate with the Loxone installation.

We expanded the installation with additional garden watering control, adding light scenes when raising and lowering the garage door, and redesigning the automation logic and operating modes.

We implemented garden watering by adding a contactor that enabled the control of a submersible pump and designed the watering logic so that the system adjusted the watering time in accordance with the readings from the soil moisture sensors and based on data from the weather station.

When programming the RGBW LED lighting, we integrated the lighting with the garage door so that light animations were recreated when raising and lowering the garage door, which was one of the investor's greatest expectations.

We adapted the entire facility to the client's preferences and completed the investment.
