Challenge
The owners of the new building previously lived in an apartment building where they had to manually operate all the blinds every day. When planning the new building, it was clear that intelligent home and building automation should be integrated.
Solution
Loxone partner Clever2Smart has successfully equipped the new building with Loxone, which now enables intelligent control of lighting, shading, heating and the access system.
LED spots were installed throughout the house. Thanks to the presence detectors, the lighting is only activated where people are currently located. The residents can use the Loxone app to create individual lighting moods to create the right atmosphere for every occasion.
Automatic shading ensures sun protection, privacy and maximum energy efficiency. The building reacts to the current position of the sun to prevent the rooms from overheating in summer and to use the natural heat for heating in winter.
The Touch Pure, a compact, elegant control element, has been integrated into every room and enables manual control of the most important functions. The lighting mood of all lights in the room can be changed with a single press of a button. The Touch Pure also offers the option of controlling the shading for the entire room. It also has a built-in temperature and humidity sensor, the data from which is transferred to the mini server. This then regulates the heating accordingly and ensures a comfortable room temperature.
The access system was implemented using a combination of intercom and NFC Code Touch. Using the Loxone app, residents can immediately see who is at the door on their smartphone or the tablet installed in the entrance area when the doorbell rings. Access for residents is either via the NFC Code Touch by entering a code or by using NFC key fobs. The necessary access rights can be easily managed via the Loxone app.
In addition, a PV system was installed and seamlessly integrated into Loxone. All energy flows are clearly visualized in the Loxone app.
