Challenge
The headquarters of our Loxone partner Hochleitner Elektrotechnik is in Thyrnau, which we were allowed to accompany to a construction site in Büchlberg in Lower Bavaria. A single-family house is currently being built there, which is being automated with Loxone. One of the special features of the project is the integration of its own water cistern, which collects rainwater and uses it sustainably for outdoor irrigation.
Solution
In this family home, some of the options for saving energy with Loxone come into their own. Here the energy management is taken over by an integrated Loxone PV system in order to optimally use the self-produced energy. In addition, there is a separate rainwater cistern, the collected rainwater from which is automatically used with Loxone to irrigate the outdoor area. An integrated ultrasonic sensor monitors the water level in the cistern.

Today everyone seems to have 100 apps on their cell phone for their building, which is sold as "smart" but isn't really smart. One of Loxone's tasks is to banish all these isolated systems and pack everything into one app. The customer can see immediately whether a window is open or closed, the battery status of the smoke detector and much more. In addition, everything can be controlled centrally. And that is a huge advantage of a Loxone smart home.
