Challenge

The challenge in this construction project was to plan and build a single-family home for a customer who placed particular value on perfect planning. The initial situation was positive because the customer came to us early and clearly communicated his wishes for the implementation of the project.



During the consultation, it became clear that the customer had a variety of automation requests and wanted to expand the house in the future. Specific requirements included controlling a pool, a hunting lodge and other automation features. The integration of a Loxone system was the optimal solution.



Loxone is a smart home system that makes it possible to network various technical components in the house and control them centrally. By implementing a Loxone system, we were able to ensure that the desired automations worked smoothly and that the house could easily be expanded in the future.



Involving the customer in the planning process at an early stage made it possible to take their individual needs into account and adapt the technical solutions accordingly. This resulted in a customized smart home that fully met the customer's requirements.

Solution

For the automation of the single-family home, we have implemented a well-thought-out solution with the Loxone system in order to seamlessly connect the various components of the house and control them centrally. The planning began at the house connection point (HAK), where we installed a small meter cabinet and secured various devices such as the heat pump, washing machine and dryer. These have been cleverly integrated into the Loxone system to ensure efficient control and monitoring.



To create enough space for the numerous components, a decentralized Loxone cabinet was placed in a rear room of the garage. Not only the components of the Loxone system but also the PV system found their place here. The network cabinet was also housed here to enable structured cabling and networking. The pipes to the outside were carefully laid to integrate gate operators, irrigation systems and even the connection to the Jagdthütte. This cabinet not only offers efficient control of existing systems, but also leaves room for future expansion.



The chosen solution allows the homeowner to conveniently and intelligently control various aspects of their home, from heating to household appliances to outdoor systems. The integration of Loxone ensures a well-thought-out and flexible smart home that fully meets the customer's needs in terms of automation and expandability.

The decision to use Loxone for this project was based on a number of outstanding features that made it an ideal solution. Firstly, Loxone allows free updates, ensuring that the system always remains up to date with the latest technology, at no additional cost to the customer.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> The variety of interfaces that Loxone offers was crucial for the seamless integration of various components. From heat pumps to washing machines and dryers to PV systems and wall boxes for excess charging of electric vehicles - Loxone offers impressive compatibility with various consumers.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> Loxone's price-performance ratio proved to be perfect for the project, with the investment in the automation of the single-family home being proportionate to the functions offered.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> Another crucial factor was the easy expandability of the system. This allows the customer to expand their smart home capabilities as needed, whether for additional rooms, devices or future technologies.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> The aesthetically pleasing look of Loxone's Touch Pure, with its indirect lighting, not only added visual appeal but also contributed to the system's usability.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> The simplicity of the Loxone system for both the end user and the installer played a crucial role. The intuitive operation and clear structure not only make daily use easier for the homeowner, but also implementation by the installation team.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> Overall, Loxone offered the perfect combination of advanced technology, flexibility, ease of use and an attractive design, making it the optimal choice for automating this family home.
