Server location monitoring

A well-known provider of fiber optic networks in Upper Austria needed to find a solution for its more than 100 server distribution station locations.

A solution for centralized monitoring of the technical facilities in the individual locations and an access solution had to be found.

Requirements such as access, video surveillance, water and fire detectors, alarm systems, temperature monitoring, etc. and a central reporting system quickly led us to use Loxone to implement it.

A mini server with the appropriate peripherals was installed in each location. This meant that all the monitoring and access requirements could be met.

A key part of the task was centralized administration, monitoring and notification in the event of a fault. The new Exosphere from Loxone plays a key role in this.



After the implementation of two reference locations, nothing stands in the way of the further rollout to over 100 locations.
