Challenge

The former village shop was to be converted into a modern self-scan store designed to operate as autonomously as possible in day-to-day use. In addition to the reliable control of lighting, heating, air conditioning, and music, the project focused on monitoring refrigeration systems and ensuring smooth, efficient operations.

Solution

The entire building automation system for the self-scan store was implemented using LOXONE. This includes DALI lighting control, 1-Wire sensors and switching actuators, as well as motion and smoke detectors. The air conditioning system was integrated via an IR interface. Additionally, a LOXONE Intercom facilitates communication regarding questions or issues at the self-scan checkout.
