Challenge
Our client needed a way to monitor remotely the temperature within two test chambers and also the ability to be able to remotely shut off the power if a safe temperature is breached.
Solution
Loxone was used to monitor the temperature of the room, through Room Comfort Sensor Air devices, and for temperature measurement of specific parts on the satellite equipment we used the Touch Grill Air Probes. The client has found it very useful that all of the information and data is easily available through the Loxone app. Using the Miniserver Compact's built in relays, the system is able to be remotely shut down through the local socket circuits and test chamber power circuits.
Loxone sold itself to this project with the promise of a reliable safety system, capable of building fail-safe threshholds that will automaticaly engage removing the need for human intervention during the 48-72 hour test runs we need to be able to run.
