Challenge
This house in Rottenburg was renovated in 2022 and, as part of the works, an extension was added. Thanks to Clever2Smart's collaboration with the homeowners' electrician, the house was integrated with Loxone smart home automation features during the process. Intelligent home and building automation now relieves the residents of numerous manual tasks. This leaves more time for the important things in life.
Solution
During this core renovation, the focus was on the intelligent control of lighting, shading, heating, multiroom audio and the access control system.
The LED Spots always bring the living spaces into the perfect light through natural color reproduction and dimming features that provide an incomparable lighting experience. Residents can add additional lighting moods at any time using the Loxone App. This creates the perfect atmosphere for every occasion. In addition, thanks to the Presence Sensor, the lighting is only activated where people are present, which ensures significant energy savings. In the dining area, in addition to the LED spots for generic lighting, the elegant Pendulum Slims provide a unique experience.
Instead of numerous light switches, the elegant Touch Pure switch was installed. This central control element encased in high-quality glass with a minimalist look and easy controls can operate all central functions of a room. For example, with just one tap in the middle, the entire lighting mood in the room changes. It was equally important to the owners to be able to play music in all rooms of the house. Volume, playlist and more can be easily adjusted via the Loxone App or Touch Pure switch.
The smart blinds in the house work automatically and ensure protection from direct sunlight, privacy and optimal energy efficiency. The automated shading adjusts to the position of the sun and prevents the rooms from overheating in summer. In winter, however, the blinds passively contribute to temperature control by letting the heat of the sun in. Of course, the shading can also be controlled manually using the Loxone App or the Touch Pure switch. In addition, the Touch Pure switch is equipped with an integrated temperature and humidity sensor. This data is also transferred to the Miniserver so it can adjust the heating according to these measurements.
The residents' favorite is the “night light” function. If someone has to get up at night, this setting adjusts the intelligent lighting to illuminate their journey with gently dimmed light.

We decided on a smart home because we didn't want to have a thousand light switches in the house. A smart home is also a lot more energy efficient than a normal house. Clever2Smart was also a very reliable contact - from professional advice to programming, everything went very well.
