This house in Heubach, originally built in 1987, was recently equipped with Loxone intelligent home and building automation as part of a comprehensive renovation.
Solution
Loxone partner Clever2Smart has seamlessly integrated lighting, shading, heating and the access system into Loxone.
By using LED strips, the visible wooden beams on the upper floor of the house are shown to their best advantage. The Loxone app enables house residents to create individual lighting moods with different colors and light intensities. This creates the perfect atmosphere for every occasion. Thanks to the presence detectors, the lighting is only activated where people are present. The residents particularly appreciate that there are no longer any light switches in the passage areas.
The shading was also retrofitted and now ensures sun protection, privacy and maximum energy efficiency. While the rooms are prevented from overheating in summer, the natural sun rays serve as a heat source in winter. The intelligent heating control continuously ensures an optimal room climate. The system also detects when a window is open for a long time and reduces the heating accordingly.
In addition, Loxone contributes to security in the building. The intelligent access system makes it possible to use the Loxone app to track at any time when the house was entered or left. When you leave the house, a notification is automatically sent if windows or doors are still open.
