RENOVATION OF A CENTENARY HOUSING

Preserving the charm and personality of a century-old home, but with the comforts of a 21st-century home.

A crucial requirement is to preserve the brick walls and ceilings of the traditional Volta Catalana, to ensure that the spirit of tradition and local architecture remains intact.

The first step taken was to insulate the home and implement an automated system for both cooling and invisible heating, such as underfloor heating. This, combined with automatic shading on all the windows, provides significant comfort and energy savings, giving the traditional architecture the attention it deserves.

We opted for minimalist LED profiles and LED strip light washlights, giving us endless possibilities for scenes in a space that combines with extreme elegance, combining noble materials such as steel, wood, and clay.

As for security and access, the intercom, combined with an alarm and lighting, offers useful features such as flashing lights when a visitor arrives and avoiding noise pollution.
