Challenge
The small bungalow has 4 rooms, an open social space with a living room, dining room and kitchen and two bathrooms. The villa underwent a total renovation, after which its operation was supposed to rely on smart technology management in many respects.
Solution
Loxone controls all lighting including dimming and color modes using LED spots and the Loxone ceiling LED light. It also takes care of ventilation with heat recovery. Loxone provides complete heating and cooling. It directly controls the heat pump, including the bivalent heating source, and thus fully supports the MaR system. Residents will also enjoy smart multiroom audio, and access to the house and an alarm are integrated into the system.
The installation was quite demanding, as we had to respect the existing very dense sandwich structure of the house and often give way to the installed air conditioning pipes. Furthermore, just as in passive houses, we cooperated with other trades - for example, to seal the cable lines passing through the vapor barrier film. We also addressed the requirement to create time-limited user access for clients who can book a stay here via Airbnb.
