A practical passive house

Challenge

One of the main requirements of the current owner was mainly practicality. Accordingly, he selected the architect's design. He gave him the idea of how to improve the pleasant use of the house even more - with a smart electrical installation. The investor liked the idea. And so Loxone took over the technology in the house. It takes care of controlling the blinds, lighting, heating, audio, access to the sauna and covering the pool.

Solution

The owner enjoys motion sensors that control presence-based lighting in some parts of the house. Mr. Fyrbach is proof that dependence on mobile control is minimal in a truly smart home. Lighting and other technologies take care of themselves. "I don't play with the color of the lights, I have set moods in the buttons. I prefer to have things preset so that I don't have to have my phone in my hand all the time," mentions owner David Fyrbach.

He only keeps his cell phone for certain tasks. "For example, I control the pool blind with my mobile phone. I didn't want a button to have full control of the blind only on my mobile. Also for safety reasons, when, for example, we have a visit with children and the like. In the same way, I can only control the sauna on my mobile phone, so that only I can turn on the heating," continues the owner.

The owner came to me with a precisely prepared assignment, it was smart and correct. He clearly knew and formulated his requirements and priorities. Despite the fact that it was one of my most laborious proposals, after the approval of the proposal we did not have to solve anything. I designed a user-friendly house for Mr. Fyrbach according to his requirements, this simplicity is further enhanced by the smart control. Today, I tell clients that smart electrical installation with unified technologies into one system is completely self-evident. I can hardly imagine a new house without such a capability.
