Pool & Garden Lighting

The client wanted to transform their swim pond and surrounding garden into a striking outdoor space with dynamic lighting effects. They needed a flexible system capable of controlling DMX pool lights, garden wall lights and house external lighting, with the ability to create different scenes (party mode, calm evening, safety lighting) and run automated schedules. A key requirement was simple control from a single app rather than juggling multiple lighting controllers.

Lakeside Electrical Ltd designed and installed a Loxone‑based lighting control system that uses a DMX Extension to manage the pool’s RGBW luminaires, along with Relay and Tree‑connected fixtures for the garden and wall lighting.

A suite of bespoke lighting scenes lets the space transition effortlessly between vibrant colour‑changing effects, subtle ambient glows and functional illumination for safe night‑time use. Automated schedules adjust brightness and colour based on sunset and the homeowner’s preferences.

Everything is centrally managed through the Loxone App, giving the homeowner intuitive control over scenes, timers and overrides at home or remotely. The system is future‑ready, with provision for adding further zones, sensors, gate control and intercom capabilities as needed.
