Challenge
The aim of the project was to increase the level of safety and ensure a higher comfort of stay during visits to patients and medical staff during their daily work.
Solution
The owner of an orthodontic clinic contacted Domotik Inteligentne Instalacje to modernize the electrical installation due to the planned renovation of the premises and the purchase of new dental and diagnostic equipment.
After a short conversation, it turned out that the doctor also wanted an alarm system and would like to have a small radio in the waiting room for patients waiting for an appointment. I immediately asked why not Loxone? I know that she knows the system because I also installed it in her house, but she did not think that intelligent solutions could be installed in such a place.
We talked about possible solutions and functions and thus decided to manage the orthodontic clinic through Loxone.
Loxone, and more specifically the Compact Miniserver, which controls the lighting, monitors the heating so that the temperature in the rooms is appropriate during work, makes the time more enjoyable with your favorite music from Quadral speakers, but most importantly, ensures safety. Security that involves access control via the NFC keyboard and the Gerda Tedee Pro smart lock, monitors water and smoke sensors, controls the Belimo water valve, switches on and off 230/400V electrical circuits, monitors doors and windows, and movement. And it's all thanks to Loxone.
By entering an individual access code on the NFC keyboard when arriving at work, the alarm system is disarmed, the electrical circuits of the sockets are switched on, the water valve actuator is opened, the heating is turned on depending on current needs, the audio is switched on in the rooms where patients or staff are currently present, and the light responds for presence.
