Office building - Eschbach

The four-story office building, each with 500 m² of office space per floor, was built to the KfW Efficiency House 55 and Green Building standards. All windows are equipped with electric blinds. The fully automatic shading should offer the greatest possible comfort and ensure a pleasant indoor climate. In addition, employees should have the option of controlling the shading individually.

The building is used by various tenants. It is therefore necessary to give the various tenants dedicated access to the shading and lighting without overlapping with other tenants or blocking the security function of the storm protection.

The video intercom and the access system from a third-party provider should be integrated into the building automation.

Due to the requirements, the decision was quickly made to use the Loxone building automation solution. Thanks to the Relay Extensions, the blinds can be easily controlled even in this larger building. The Weather Station allows the blinds to react automatically in the event of a storm or frost. The tenants were given access to the automatic shading via a tablet on each floor. In addition, some employees have the App for their PC and can thus control the shading individually. Thanks to the network interface, it was easy to integrate the on-site intercom system with the access system. The DALI interface controls the high-quality lights in the foyer and reception area.

Several Miniservers were installed for this project. This offers a high degree of flexibility for the needs of the tenants and increases security. By networking using Tree intercommunication, the network is independent of the building and tenant network, which enormously increases security and stability.
